Redbud Cafe was born in 2009 when two working potters decided Blanco needed a place to gather — and the Hill Country hasn't stopped showing up since.

Gather Around the Table
Redbud cafe, established in 2009 was created by Jon and Jan Brieger. Potters by trade, they have been crafting pottery by hand and selling their work at Brieger Pottery on the square in Blanco, Texas since the early 90’s. Now, both the pottery shop and cafe are located in the building that originally housed the town’s hardware store. Redbud Cafe opens onto the pottery shop – right next door. You can still find the old rainfall records dating back to 1900 hanging on the wall, these records are updated annually.
