Redbud Cafe was born in 2009 when two working potters decided Blanco needed a place to gather — and the Hill Country hasn't stopped showing up since.

Redbud cafe, established in 2009 was created by Jon and Jan Brieger. Potters by trade, they have been crafting pottery by hand and selling their work at Brieger Pottery on the square in Blanco, Texas since the early 90’s. Now, both the pottery shop and cafe are located in the building that originally housed the town’s hardware store. Redbud Cafe opens onto the pottery shop – right next door. You can still find the old rainfall records dating back to 1900 hanging on the wall, these records are updated annually.
Redbud Cafe features food made fresh daily using premium products. Our dedication to quality has always been our first priority. Our menu features familiar items but with our own hill country twist. Our local favorites include our Blanco Burger, Reuben, Pear and Bleu Cheese Salad, Meatloaf Sandwich and Chicken Salad Sandwich!
We have craft cocktails made to perfection, including our award winning (Best in Blanco County) Redbud Rita. We proudly serve Blanco’s own Real Ale Brewing Company beers on tap. We feature a handpicked selection of wines by the bottle or by the glass! Stop by and enjoy a drink with friends, and catch live music every Friday & Saturday from 6:30 – 9 pm.
We have a great happy hour on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 3:30 -5:30 that includes 50% off all alcohol and appetizers. On Thursday night we host Two rounds of Trivia at 6:00 and 7:00 with prizes awarded for each round.
